Had a farewell dinner last night for Micheal, the German HelpX worker who has been doing a bit of decorating here. He was more than usually taciturn but Kat, Elaine and I enjoyed it:) Avacado/tuna/cream cheese terrine wrapped in smoked salmon, steak and chips with broccoli from the garden, cream and chestnut puree whipped over chocolate biscuit with those finger sponge things that we always called Funeral Biscuits when I was a kid, dunno why -
Forgot to take photies so here is the mighty Aude yesterday looking very autumnal.
