Ole Bendik and Aileen have a fire

Tonight we celebrated Ole Bendiks new fire with a dinner hunted and cooked by Aileen - wild mushroom tart, salad superbe and a cheese cake with far too many calories. The house is a joy and the evening full of stories and reminiscences and fun - with a fire to warm us and nothing to fret us. It was also a farewell to Margret, alas; she returns to Ireland tomorrow. Kat was driver and had to stay sober to drive, (it was too cold to walk) so thanks Kat - and to all for a marvelous evening.
I know its a terrible photo but it is a nice shot of the fire ... built by Ole-Bendik and his right-hand woman, the multi-talented Jenny C.
We did take our coats off eventually :) -and jumpers, it was a very warm house after the fire got going.
